Country music (....wait did I just say that?) and thanksgiving month... 'MERICA!

Yeahh, so it's weird news everyone. I am getting into country.. Did I just say that? I really can't believe it.. But i'll just go on as if everything is normal.
Haha anyways. It has been good these past days! I have been getting all the homework done and i've been trying to get some income coming in by donating plasma. But any small oddity in your blood be it hydration or protein can stop you from donating for a while, and that is where i am at right now. I am an undernourished, dehydrated twerp according to Biomat (Plasma donation center). Sigh. even doctors are saying it now? What is happening?? Ok time to get off my soap box. I'm sorry. It's been a good week tho! :)

I have been thinking, since it is (no-shave) November i wanted to mention a couple of things that i am grateful for. Mind you, i couldn't make a list for it would take up a lot of space. I mean a lot.. So i will mention some things that have really made an impact in my life!
First of all i am so grateful for (this one i can use two as one) my Heavenly Father and my advocate Jesus Christ! They are so AWESOME! :) I just love how they give me so much strength. Ya know? It's just great! Second off, i am grateful for my family, oh the difference they have made in my life. It really is monumental.
Third, i am so grateful for the power of the priesthood! Fourth (as i have already mentioned in my last foggy-bloggy-thingy) PRAYER is essential for happiness, yo! It makes me happier and it keeps me protected. Fifth i am grateful for the plan of salvation. What is greater than an opportunity to be able to return to our loving Heavenly Father once again? I don't know about you, but i think that that is just great :)

All this grateful stuff reminded me of something that happened while on my mission. (I'm pretty sure you will be reading a lot more of these stories)
I was in my favorite area of Universitario as i was companions with Elder Balieiro. First of all in our companionship we didn't get along very well because we had many differences between us, and i guess our pride got in the way too. But i'll say that i learned a lot in those 12 weeks with him and i am grateful for the experiences i passed through to know exactly what i shouldn't do in a same situation.
Anyways, we were walking our normal route one day late at night. (Actually we were a bit behind curfew this night so we were walking pretty fast to get home) Well right as we were turning a corner of a street and crossing, we hear a lady yell out in distress: "Heim, rapazes! Socorro por favor!!" Or in english "Hey young men! Please help me!!". You don't usually hear this as you are walking late at night on a road going home and it threw us for a loop. So i stop, look back, and see a woman in about her early 20's holding a small boy a good distance off walking rapidly towards us with a hopeless look on her face...

I'm out of time, next post i'll finish the post, yo! :)
